We are currently looking for just the right guardian homes for the following puppies/dogs. If you’d like to find out more, please send me an email or direct message inquiring. We are not in any hurry to place them, as they have a special place in our hearts, and we want to find them families that will love them as much as we do.

Who wouldn’t want a free pick of the litter “started” puppy?

  • Ready Now! Mini Bernedoodle – Lassie, Female, 25-30lbs mature, brown phantom Parti, wavy coat, DOB 1/17/2024, fully crate trained, 90% potty trained, fully vaccinated and ready for her forever family!
  • Future Mini Goldendoodle -Female, 25-35lbs mature, Summer 2024

How it works

We would love to be able to grow our program and keep all our dogs in our own home with us. However, this is not a feasible option and do not have the space or want to use separate kennels. Guardian homes are a partnership between a breeder and a family in order to give our breeding dogs the best care possible and all the love and individual attention they deserve. We are looking for people who share our passion, love of dogs and understand our mission. This plan is used by many breeders and has proven to be very successful with the right partnership.

In short– the breeding dog lives with their adoptive family and returns to us for breeding as needed. Contracts for females is typically 3-4 litters. Ownership of breeding dogs remain solely with us, the breeder, until after the contract is fulfilled.

Females & Males

Females will come to us when she is in heat and then again to deliver and raise her puppies. She will visit with us during her heat cycle, to be bred. Then, she will return to us about a week before she is ready to whelp (deliver) her puppies. She will stay with us until the puppies are weaned (typically between 7-8 weeks) and then return to her guardian family. Males return to us when a female, that he is needed for, is in heat. He may visit 3-5 times during a weeklong period. A contract is signed by both parties, and we stay in close contact throughout the whole process! This partnership allows the dog to live its best life with its forever family!

Playdates

We also like to schedule “playdates” with the guardian dog at our home occasionally, to ensure the breeding dog is familiar and comfortable with us, our family and our home as time goes on. We are also here to assist and support you as needed every step of the way. We will answer any questions or concerns you might have along the way to make this arrangement run as smooth as possible! However, we are not “helicopter parents” and entrust our guardian families with our amazing dogs as it is a part of their family too!

At the end of the outlined contract, the Guardian Family will have 100% ownership of the dog! As well as, the dog will have it’s forever family it’s been with from the beginning. How amazing is that?!

A Partnership

We are selective about our guardian homes. Not everyone will be approved to love and care for one of our breeding dogs. Prior to any contract, we will perform at least one telephone/in-person interview and may require an in-home visit. Our breeding program DEPENDS on the quality of care provided to our dogs by our loving guardian families – we expect the best home life possible for our dogs. Please see some of the requirements below.
